Ok, it’s been a couple days now, I am no where near as annoyed as I was when I received the original email and I even made time to make an extra special video up for this one.
I’m using a brand new style of putting this video together, so would appreciate any feedback about it. Plus I would love to hear your thoughts about the email I received.
P.S. Pay close attention to the labels at the bottom during the video!!
Bill has been investing in Calgary Real Estate since 2003 and has been writing about various Real Estate topics since shortly after he started. With a significant amount of Real Estate transactions and experiences he is able to pass his knowledge on to other investors and partners, and now you through his Real Estate blog. Thanks Bill, timely video, just received my own email from someone that accused me of dastardly deeds……..I must be a bad landlord……LOL Keep smiling….it looks good on your video……
You’re dastardly too? Good I thought I was the only one. This is actually a great reminder that many landlords forget. Most of the things we see are not single instances. For the most part being a landlord doesn’t involve dealing with other landlords other than perhaps reference calls or unless you are part of an organization like REIN. We all run into tenants that push our buttons, banks that just won’t cooperate and numerous other “issues”.
By me putting many of these examples up (and trust me I have lots of examples!), hopefully others out there can see that they are not alone with their problems.
Hey Bill, very nice video, I loved it. I think this lady didn’t read the entire description of your property, she just stop reading at the point of “males only”, and switched to “disgunting mode” right away. There is nothing you can do about this now, but may be you can rephrase the sentence like something like “due to security issues (they are just men at the property) we don’t allow women, I hope you understand”. Good luck, keep going with the blog, it’s lots of fun and useful info.
How silly of her. Some people don’t realize what’s done as a safety concern is actually for their benefit. Perhaps she views seatbelts as optional? Or maybe she drinks out of a lead cup. One can only guess.
Thanks Daniel,
I guess part of the problem is assuming the obvious, like why would a woman want to live with a house full of guys? But perhaps it really is just a matter of them not understanding the process. Much of our previous marketing explained the safety issues of why it was male only and we sort of pushed that out over time as it seemed obvious to us. Glad you enjoy the info, the blog and the video, keep the comments coming, it’s the only way we know it’s helpful!
If you feel a walk through of the eviction process offered above won't be enough to help you, you need our complete guide to
The Eviction Process in Alberta Using the RTDRS.
Click the book below to find out more!
You will learn how to effectively and quickly have tenants evicted without the fear of breaking the law or having the courts delay the eviction in sympathy, while you struggle to keep up with mortgage payments.
